About Oak Meadow Math Gnomes
Oak Meadow's Math Gnomes provide a whimsical way to help children conceptualize the four processes in mathematic equations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) through story and hands-on games.
A small booklet of simple math stories, taken from Oak Meadow's first grade curriculum, are included with each set of gnomes.
Hand crafted exclusively for Oak Meadow at the Q’ewar Project (a social work initiative situated in the rural highlands of the Andes Mountains in Peru), these Waldorf-inspired math gnomes are made from 100% alpaca wool with natural dyes. Each gnome stands about 2 inches tall, and they come in a set of five.
