High School English
Oak Meadow's high school English courses are designed to help students develop essential writing and critical thinking skills through the study of literature. Through their coursework, students will be engaged with a mix of comprehension and critical thinking questions, interpretive essays, journaling, creative projects, and creative writing. We also encourage an interdisciplinary approach, and encourage students to draw connections from their other coursework, since literature connects to all areas of life.
Please note: If you are interested in earning a diploma through Oak Meadow, you will need to fill out an application to our distance learning school, rather than purchasing materials in our bookstore — credit toward graduation cannot be earned through purchasing the high school materials and using them independently.
